here is my list of ideas so far: a boyfriend and girlfriend put up an escort ad on the internet, but they intend to rob the guy that responds to the ad and arrives, character two is an alchoholic woman depressed and trying to be alone, character three is a cool dude that is throwing a party that night and his friends, there is also a detective staying at the hotel after his recent divorce. Finally another main character is Farah a computer programmer and chemist trying to synthesize a drug that cures tiredness. There is also two comedians in a car that have a funny conversation. Within all those characters we have a lot of possible plotlines. There is all that and more going on at this shady sad motel. Help me identify the core story that can weave these themes together for a real story worth telling about what happened that night. The over arching theme is hustle melancholy. we want to see some glamour and some grit in the life of staying at a motel. the story is dark sci-fi combined with urban depression. i love stories where a lot of little things happen and when you step back something big actually happened. the characters are responding based on their desires to the collision of events unfolding. the streets are hot. people are crazy. things are crazy. write me 5 solid story ideas for my script.
